Having a variety of books inside of my classroom library will encourage students to enjoy reading for fun and not just an obligation. It will also help to close the reading gaps due to the pandemic. Reading multiple genres will help improve a student's reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Having access to books inside the classroom to read at school and at home will encourage students to enjoy reading for fun and expand their imagination of the types of books they can read while also learning and growing at school.
