These books will help my World Cultures students to better understand themselves and the world around them. As our school district has become increasingly diverse, it is important that children learn accurate information about other cultures. They also need to learn more about themselves; especially after the isolation due to the pandemic. It is essential that students have access to books with characters that look like they do as well as providing exposure to a variety of cultures they may not understand. Your generosity will help me to greatly diversify the book offerings in my classroom. The is especially important as it is my first year teaching World Cultures. I fully anticipate my students reading and rereading these beautiful books.
