As a Kindergarten class, we are often gathered on the carpet together. There are many activities we do that require a whiteboard. These activities could include modeling, sharing work, giving examples, writing and reading, and many more. This whiteboard easel will allow my class to gather on the carpet and utilize the whiteboard space for a wide variety of activities. Not only will this whiteboard easel be used in whole group instruction, but it will also provide ample space for small group work as well. Students will use the magnetic whiteboard to play with letters, build and write words, and explore big books. Students will also use the board to strengthen their math skills as they count, write numbers, and use magnetic manipulatives such as ten-frames and counters. The activities are endless with the whiteboard teaching easel. My class would be eternally grateful for the teaching experiences that would be granted with this easel!
