My students will be using these books every single day. Reading is the most critical aspect of learning to use a language fluently, and the one area in which my students need the most assistance. My students will be reading for five minutes every class period at the beginning of the year, working towards 15 minutes by the end of the year. Students will work collaboratively at the end of the year in literary circles where they use our library books to analyze, collaborate, debate, and create their own book trailers.
