The items in my cart will help my young students with autism better regulate at school. Children with autism often struggle to regulate their bodies and emotions. Because of the pandemic, there has been a lot of inconsistency. Moving to distance learning deeply impacted their much needed consistency in their lives, causing a disruption in their ability to regulate themselves. The water table and other sensory items will help them tolerate and stay calm in our very loud and dis-regulated classroom. Please fund my project with little ones with autism!
