This iPad will provide a lot of benefit to both the students and the staff of the Marching Band as a whole. For my Middle Schoolers, the iPad will provide us with extra curriculum that we can access with the ability to use Garage Band to record class performances and projects. We can also use it to experiment with various different programs used for making beats and electronic music. For the Marching Band, this device will be used for multiple things. It will be used for instructing the students, both on the field and off, with their marching drill and sheet music/scores, for starters. We can also use it to rapidly disperse information to the students through apps like Remind and Google Classroom on the fly. We will also use the iPad for design when it comes to creating our new Marching Band field shows. The iPad will be extremely helpful in terms of writing and arranging music and designing marching drill during upcoming seasons.
