As a first-year teacher, I have an extremely limited budget to get my classroom set up appropriately for my first-grade students. These materials will make a difference in the education of my students by giving them the basic supplies they need to accomplish learning goals. My students thrive when given the chance to have hands-on learning experiences, and I believe these materials will help me create those experiences for them. The books on my list cater to the interests of my students so that they can become motivated, and also see themselves, in what they read. Finally, the organizational items on my list will allow me to get my classroom better organized and more efficient, by having specific places to put everyday items and student work.

About my class
