After being placed in a first grade classroom for one year due to Covid I wished more than anything I had these tiles so each of my students could have their own set of letters and have the hands on experience of building their own words. The tactile learning will add a whole new element of excitement to our learning environment. Each student of mine would be able to have their own set of letters to build and learn on how to create new CVC words, rather than just me presenting it as a whole group lesson. The letter tiles will allow my intervention students to have a sense of ownership over their work and in turn feel good about themselves and the work they can create and do. Since I have been able to implement the Orton Gillingham program I have been trained in, this would be a wonderful addition to the learning experience for my small group. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated.
