These two books that I am asking for will allow the students to not only understand how to locate the theme, author's purpose, and purposeful structure, but these books will allow the students to fall in love with reading. These two novels, while difficult, will push the students of this Gifted and Talented program to a level they never thought they could reach. Remember how good it felt, when you were younger, to get that book you craved, pouring over every page as quickly as you could in your excitement? That's what we all want, as a school, to have for these students. The students deserve them, and you could help change an area in great need of leaders.

About my class
