Students will have their own assigned headphones for better safety and comfort knowing that they don't have to share with anyone. Of course, these headphones will stay in the classroom for years to come, as long as they aren't broken. I will teach my students how to take care of them to make sure they last as long as possible and review expectations on a daily basis. I think this will bring a sense of excitement and ease into completing online assessments and assignments knowing that they feel comfortable and safe. Fidgets have been known to help people focus for longer periods of time. My students will have the opportunity to use a fidget during class to help increase their stamina and endurance.
