In my Special Education Work-Based Learning class we focus on building foundational vocation and life skills. We are starting up a class business creating spirit bracelets for staff and students. Through this class business, my students are exposed to pre-entrepreneurial skills and the concept of how a small business works. Our class business allows each student to showcase and use their own strengths and interests, while making an impact on our campus and community. They are so excited to share their skills and show off their hard work through selling the bracelets they have created. It has been amazing to see how empowered and confident my students are while working on this project and witnessing the great things they are capable of!
