Please help me give my students a chance to express their creativity with the use of clay. I've had a chance to see the impact of Covid on my students. They are overwhelmed and doing their best to adjust to their new normal. A parent donated a used kiln to our art program and a few of our students had a chance to create a few pieces. My students were excited about their finished projects, and our school's counselor said the use of clay has proved to be therapeutic for our students. We would like to expand the school's pottery program and give most of our students a chance to fully engage with art and give them another outlet for creative expression.
