My 9th graders are currently sitting at desks that are older than their teacher by a few decades. Some have jagged edges and chipped corners. While not all of the desks in my room are in such a state, many of my students are simply too tall to sit at standard desk/chair combos that are common in most high schools.
I would love to have your help to provide a more comfortable classroom setting for my kids. Being able to simply scoot away from the desk is a luxury, and with the currently COVID mitigation protocols, students are eating lunch in my room. And sometimes, after a meal from the cafeteria, you need a little extra room to breathe. Even if I can't make everyone particularly comfortable in my room, I'd at least like to make sure these kids aren't actively UNcomfortable. That's where the flexible seating of this classroom furniture comes in.
Some kids love to collaborate, and some love working alone. Regardless of their preferences, I want to be able to offer them the options that could be afforded by this new classroom furniture.
