I teach students ranging from 7th to 12th grades. Many of these students struggle with social, emotional and behavioral issues that prevent them from staying on task, getting along with peers, and completing assignments. Having this project funded will allow me the opportunity to provide my students with the necessary resources to help overcome their social, emotional, and behavioral hurdles and excel academically. A calm down corner will be provided, along with flexible seating. This will help with sensory issues and provide their brains with extra stimulation or decompression as needed.

About my class
