So much learning happens on the carpet. This space is precious for a young learner. Being comfortable and having a bright space to sit, learn, and feel happy is so important. First graders need carpet time for structured learning and for social emotional learning. Giving them a space to enjoy is so special. The students love to use the carpet time for learning as well as free time. Being on the carpet and taking a break from their desk is something they look forward to. This space provides much more than what any book Can provide them.
