The partitions that we are requesting will support our students by giving them privacy while they process their thoughts and feelings in the school setting. The partitions are needed to separate our classroom into two sections. The section shown on our class picture will be partitioned off to conduct social/emotional learning groups. This space is a safe location for students to learn problem-solving, conflict resolution, and coping skills that are necessary for healthy growth and development. When children are provided with privacy they are more likely to open up, are provided with the opportunity to obtain the attention and individualized support that they need to feel heard and validated and are less distracted by external stimuli. Thanks for your support!
