My students come from many walks of life. Some have stable home environments, others struggle to get nourishment and a safe place to stay for a night. Having snacks and storage as well as books and materials for school can make a huge difference in how students learn. When they don't have to worry about their next meal or if they have something to take home they are able to be more engaged in the lesson. A safe space is also of vital importance. I try everyday to make my classroom welcoming in order to encourage students to be their best selves.

About my class
