I have a computational project in which I have students learn to calculate the number of atoms in a number of standards everyday objects (water, aluminum water bottles, graphite in their pencils). Sadly, my students are very poor and don't have calculators, despite me asking them to buy one for the beginning of the year and that it will be essential to their success in the class. Our school has a no-phone policy and so I sadly can't have them use their phones either. These calculators will enable my students to develop the computational skills outlined by the NGSS, while at the same time doing so in an engaging way! Thank you for your support.
