Students are struggling with their mental health this year. There has been a pandemic, which took many family members, schools shut down for a year and then there has been civil unrest. As we have watched the students at our school this year we have found more than ever that they need to feel attached to their school and supported not only by the adults but their peers. The Peer leadership class would like to expand their class library to help them gain more leadership skills through study and fun classroom activities. The students are also working hard to spread joy at the school and motivate other students to attend so that they can be more academically successful. We are hoping to use the materials listed to bring joy to more students at the school and help unite them and feel supported by their peers.
