I have the opportunity to work with many students in a small group and large group capacity. As a Core teacher, I assist teachers by reteaching and reviewing essential skills that they learned in class. As an Academic Support Teacher, I will be providing small group interventions to students who need more instruction in math and reading. These supplies will provide opportunities for students to engage in lessons and exploration of literacy skills in an interactive way. I feel that literacy instruction that engages multiple senses is impactful. An example of this is having students trace letters in the sand or build them with wiki sticks.
