I have a diverse classroom, with non-verbal students, wheelchair bound, high energy kinders and they need lots of sensory items to help them learn. I'm new to Special Education and my classroom doesn't have any hand-on sensory items. These sensory and building resources will help my students learn through hands-on building and play. It can help reach the diverse needs in my classroom. I've also requested a gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers so that I can purchase curriculum for my Special Education classroom. I'm interested in buying things like visual schedules, token board systems, task boxes and file folders. With these sensory items and Special Education curriculum items, I will begin to build a classroom where these students have a variety of ways to learn.
