Hi! My name is Ms. Aguirre. I currently teach Pre-K to 5th grade Spanish. This is the first year that our school is implementing the World Language program and we are so excited to get started! We are a neighborhood public school and our resources are very limited. Our school does not have enough chairs to accommodate for the different grade levels in my class. We even had to bring chairs over from other schools. Since I teach a variety of grade levels, I want to ensure that ALL of my students have seating that is comfortable to them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. The wobble stools that I selected are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will also be extremely beneficial to the cluster special education classrooms that I teach. A lot of my students in those clusters have Autism and I believe these chairs will allow them get the wiggles out and stay more focused in class. Having a comfortable learning environment can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and I hope that these stools will help us grow even more!
