My 2nd graders are working on collaborating with others. Many of them spent part of kindergarten and first grade learning online. They are motivated by hands on learning. I want to provide them opportunities to create and collaborate together. The will use Lego bricks to build a variety of fun creations with a team or partner. We will then write stories about the robot, monster or other project they created. We will explore animal habitats as we use Lego bricks to replicate them. We will build structures and measure them then use our earthquake table to test their strength. The opportunities for learning are endless and the ability to collaborate will be life changing.
