The startup of any small business can be daunting, but these materials will be all that my Work Skills class needs to create an amazing product to sell to the school population. We plan to make Spirit Gear popsockets to sell. We will make them during class time, and when we have enough to sell, we will sell them in the school cafeteria during student lunches. The hope is that my class will learn many different skills, such as marketing, money management, and interpersonal skills instead of just putting together boring work boxes. I want to give them something to be proud of and make them an integral part of our school culture.
