Changing a grade level text to a text the students would be excited to read is no easy task. Students tend to develop better reading habits after they have been introduced to a novel that speaks to them. I believe Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game will be that novel as it was for me when I was younger. Having a physical copy for each of my students will allow for more flexibility for us to read together in class; having a physical copy for each student also allows for students who need to read it from home due to quarantine to have that opportunity.
