Space is limited in our buildings, but I am working hard to create a comfortable, cozy space to practice speech and language skills. The children will grow their play skills while sitting on the rug. The child-sized table will allow us to work toward more focused, pre-academic speech and language skills. The room divider will help the students stay focused and minimize the distraction of other students walking by. I chose beautiful blue colors and natural woods to add an inviting, yet calming aspect to the space. I want the children to feel welcomed and ready to learn each time they come to speech.
