Currently, we have very little access to digital art in our classroom. I am a big believer that proper tools and materials make a big difference in learning and developing skills. Technology is such a big part of our students world and there is a strong interest for digital drawing within our student base. Art foundation class introduces students to many different art materials, art styles, and artists. To be able to include a digital unit would complete our curriculum! With the addition of Wacom tablets, students would be able to explore different drawing techniques that are difficult with pencil and paper. Students who prefer digital would be able to explore art in a medium , not currently available in our classroom!
