My students are very creative and love to explore new things. If I have to put it in words, I would say 'they learn by trying.' For this project, I would like for my students to apply those different math concepts they have been learning since middle school. By having the necessary supplies, they will be able to engage in meaningful activities and understand some applications of math in real life. For instance, what is the velocity of the car after 2 minutes? How about after 10 minutes? Or, what is the trajectory of this ball? Can we graph it using a linear function? Why or why not? Just to mention a few.
