Currently in my music classroom there are no chairs or choir risers. My students can only sit on the floor, which can be difficult for my upper grade students. Chairs and risers can be expensive and due to budget cuts they are just not a viable option for my school at this time. Due to Covid-19 we are not able to utilize rugs in our classrooms. My students are extremely uncomfortable. As we all know when students are physically in discomfort the learning expectations are not as easy to be met.
