These materials will help my students participate in hands-on activities through multiple language domains of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. We are returning to in-person learning and I am excited to use manipulatives, such as the large whiteboard and chart paper, to model and guide my students through lessons. In each lesson, I focus on one language function, such as describe or compare and contrast. After teacher modelling, students will then engage in independent writing and speaking tasks, such as creating a personal narrative, using the materials in order to develop language in that specific domain.
