Every student enters school in different stages of physiological and neurological development. Many of our early learners have been remote since last year due to COVID and have missed opportunities to move their bodies and develop skills necessary for learning readiness and mastery of the environment. This motor lab will stimulate and develop the reflexes, tactile, proprioceptive, vestibular, visual and auditory systems of our students. With the development of these skills, students better achieve academic success and better performance in tasks such as handwriting, behavior and their ability to pay attention. It will be a campus wide curriculum that will benefit many of our students here in DES.

About my class
