We are an innovation school and have a 45 minute Enrichment block in which I would love to challenge my students to learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube. Learning how to solve a Rubik's cube is extremely engaging and develops problem solving skills, perseverance and confidence. Although is can seem extraordinarily complex at first, I will teach my students the skills needed to "read the cube" and solve it in under 2 minutes every time. My best hopes is that my students would learn how to solve a Rubik's cube in class with me and then have the opportunity to take one home and have it with wherever they go.
