We will use the iPads to create pieces of art drawing, painting, drafting. Since my students come from disadvantaged homes, many of them are not familiar with how technology can be used to design actual buildings or to create designs or drawings that can be used in advertising. My students are young but I want them to explore how software that looks fun can be used for real jobs. Every year we learn about different world habitats. My students build a diorama with a shoe box and different materials that represent the flora and fauna of their favorite habitat. This year I would like for them to create a digital version . There are many apps that are free to draw paint , and even insert tridimensional images which would make their dioramas interesting and interactive.
