My students are English language learners. Giving them opportunities to read aloud and practice inflection, fluency, and comprehension while working with their peers is incredibly powerful. These readers theater materials will give them that opportunity. Additionally, the printer will allow them to create their own written works on their iPads and print them out for peer review and publication. Technology is becoming ever present and it is important for my students to practice typing and creating digitally, but also transferring those skills to the real world in a way that is tangible.
