I love to use laptops in my class to help students familiarize themselves with technology, both hardware and software. We are currently provided with a 2:1 ratio of students to computers. My goal is to reach 1:1 and allow each student to have their own to use. We often use Google Suite apps to have them collaborate on projects together. I want each student to stay busy and learning. Students also learn lots of skills in Chinese, from reading and writing to listening and typing all in Chinese! I have noticed that when students are actively engaged in learning Chinese, their confidence and their ability grows. I want each kid to be able to use their Chinese ability to make this world a better place, and it starts right here!
