Children do not all learn the same and the flexible seating I have requested will help them learn in the best environment. I already have some inflatable seating that the students love, but there is not enough for all 19 students. I am requesting floor desks, floor chairs, and light covers to filter the bright lights in our room. Throughout my lessons students will be able to choose a seating option that best fits them. Not all students can learn from being at a desk. This is why the flexible seating is a great resource to have in my classroom. Another way I want to help my students learn is through alternative lighting. The harsh bright lights cause headaches, but need to remain on during instructional time. To help with that, the light filters will dim the lights making for a better learning environment.
