In a world filled with technology and constant stimulation, we are always on the hunt to engage children in practicing skills in fun and engaging ways. Kindergarten lays the foundation for all of the other grades and we all know that without a strong and solid foundation, a structure will fall. Learning to read is the heartbeat of this foundation. Everyone MUST learn to read. The beginning stages of reading are the mastering of early literacy skills such as letter and sound identification, rhyming, syllabication, story sequencing, blending, etc. Your donations will be providing MANY ENGAGING materials for my class to practice these crucial early literacy skills.
