I currently have a STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) makerspace in the media center and these magnetics would make a wonderful addition to the program. I frequently pair great children's books like "If I Built a House" or "Iggy Peck Architect" with a building challenge. These materials will help extend the learning plan and engage young students in constructive education experiences. Students need to feel the difference between 2D and 3D shapes. These materials are great for demonstrating the differences. In addition, my textile learners will embrace these tools and see a possible future career pathway.
