These building games and puzzles will allow my young students to work cooperatively together to achieve for a common goal. Students need more "out of their seats" activities. Real-life problem-solving skills are used to work to complete a puzzle or build an interesting contraption. Learning to work together and communicate is an essential skill for all children. In addition to the life skill of cooperation, students are also given the opportunity to build relationships with their peers. Working together helps grow friendships and mutual respect, which can reduce bullying situations in our classroom.
