My goal is for students to be exposed to the Spanish language as much as possible with the intention of helping to create a love for the language and culture. In addition, having students read books that they enjoy will also help to create a love for reading! I will provide independent reading time each day for students to choose a (Spanish or bilingual) book to read for 15 minutes. Studies show that students will be more motivated to read high-interest books which is why I have selected both Fiction and non-fiction Spanish materials.
