The product donation I am requesting ranges from basic art supplies to specialized materials. Our diverse student population has chosen our charter school to learn more about the arts, and we offer them unique experiences they may not otherwise have. I hope to empower my students to see how fashion, art, and design can change their lives and society as a whole. Projects in our classes will have a focus on the environment by introducing students to natural dying processes, using recycled materials, and creating sustainable designs. Students will learn the value of keeping a sketchbook, collaborate with other academic subject areas, and build confidence in their work by creating final projects.
