Students that are coming back into the classroom not only desire being at school but are excited to be among peers. Using these STEM and hands on tools will set students into the social learning that one of our theorists wrote about. Students will learn from each other and be motivated to use tools that have not used before or that they have at home. Having stamps, help students create their own scenes, use their imagination, and want to write about it. Having scented markers creates such a desire to draw, write and color that I can't believe it is not considered an important tool. Using not only tactile but smell, helps motive students, and they enjoy writing.
