The 6 person listening center will help students hear fluency but also practice fluency while following along with a hard copy of the book. This will be a center during my ELA block that all students will be able to access. While this is an older technology use, I feel like my students would love to learn how to use this to benefit them in the long run. Some of my struggling readers love being read to them, this gives them another chance throughout the day to have that opportunity. My students struggle with social and emotional skills, with this I will be purchasing a social and emotional pack from Teachers Pay Teachers to make sure my students are reaching their full potential in and out of the classroom. I will be doing 2 lessons a week on social and emotional learning for students to find ways for mindfulness.
