The equipment that I'm requesting for my students will help bring the game of golf to underprivileged kids. I will use the mats for them to practice their swings and when they become confident create a mini golf course for them to play. The foam golf balls are a safe way for my students to practice hitting a golf ball of similar size and feel without the danger of injury. Golf can be fun and teach kids many life lessons, including patience, honesty, problem solving, cooperation, humility, learning to accept things out of your control, concentration, and to not dwell on mistakes. My students will benefit in learning the game of golf by learning life's lessons, getting exercise, and maybe taking a game with them for the rest of their lives to enjoy.
