Bringing more calm and confidence into our SEL room is my goal. Offering my students a safe space to reset and regroup is important for them to grow. I have slowly been creating a kid-friendly area that allows students to explore yoga and mindfulness. My school was gifted yoga mats but no supporting accessories. The balance boards would help to offer modifications for all students. I want my room and the tools in it to be accessible to all the kids I work with. I believe building self confidence and self awareness is vital to the success of each student.
