I work with students who have difficulty self-managing their behavior, which in turn affects their educational outcomes. My students thrive on positive reinforcements and incentives. The students use individualized point systems to track mastery toward their behavior and instructional goals every day. Each student has a specific amount of points they need to earn per class to earn a reward. These kids love snacks and always choose snacks and drinks over any other reinforcers. With these snacks, I can help my students stay motivated to attend class, try their best, and meet their goals.
