Both the water bottles and the binders will be items the students will be able to take with them when they complete their school year. A little memory token of their 2021-2022 school year. Giving the students somethings they know belongs to them (own) will give them a sense of pride, make them want to do their best work, and share the story behind the items with others. The binders will contain the written work the students edited and submitted for their writing grades and the class "short story" book.
