The materials being asked for will do more than the purpose they serve. The music stands will be used to help students learn to play their instruments in a group in a safe learning environment. In accordance to COVID-19 regulations, the students should not be sharing materials. Currently, we do not have enough music stands for every student. When you look good, you sound good! Having these sheet music folders will help make the group look uniform and professional, which will help our confidence and sound. The sheet music folders will help with our performance and appearance during concerts and during the Music Performance Assessments in April. Rock stops are a necessity for lower string players like cellos and bass to play. Without them, my students will be unable to keep their instruments from sliding out from under them. The instruments have a metal endpin that does not stay in place on the tile floors we have.
