Phonics is a huge skill we are trying to strengthen due to the pandemic. Many of our students have never had a "normal" school year, so they've never had a "normal" phonics curriculum. Our students love using pop-its, so these ABC pop-its will be a huge hit when we build sight words! By donating these hands-on manipulatives, we can work to close the gap! When we read at home, we find somewhere comfy to sit and enjoy our book. The same principle should go for reading in school! These flexible seating options will allow my students to comfortably spread out to practice their reading skills!
