This project is designed to get the students reading in more areas of the building. In the music room, the students are always asking questions about musicians throughout history that existed after some of the great composers that we learn about. The "Who is..." books are a way to give the gift of musicians through time to my students while promoting literacy in the Music room. My goal is to make this a group project where the students read the book together and create some type of graphic that displays the key information that they have learned. They can do this by creating a PowerPoint on their iPads, a poster, or being creative in another way. I just want to encourage them to learn about music in new and creative ways.
